Meet at the church at 1:30, or at Floyd Hall at 2pm. Church pays for the admission and skate rental, you pay for your snacks.

Confirmation Classes

Our classes for ninth graders seeking confirmation begin on Sunday, January 13 at 1 pm in the Upper Room. We will also meet January 27, February 3 and 10, and March 9 and 23. Speak to Rev. Pamlea for more information.

EYC Caroling

This Sundy, December 16th, is our Annual Carol Sing. We leave the Rectory at 5 pm to sing at the homes of parishioners. We finish up the evening, at about 6:45 pm, at the Nutlye Senior Manor. We also plan on stopping at the Living Nativity at Vincent Methodist Church.

Christmas Caroling

NEIGHBORHOOD CAROLING, Sunday, December 16th – Come and spread the Christmas spirit to our neighbors and shut-ins by singing carols! We gather at the rectory at 5 pm to begin our journey around town. Our first stop is the Nutley Senior Manor at 5:15 and we end about 6:30 pm. Call the church office if you are coming so we can plan for drivers.

Childen's Christmas Haircuts

One of our parishioners, Donna Vaicels, a professional beautician, is doing a fundraiser for the church on December 9th.
The youth are going to help with the fundraiser by collecting money and sweeping, let us know if you are interested. The Salon is on Broad Street near Watchung. Haircuts are $10, 15, 20. The proceeds will be donated to the church.

Calling Youth to Convention!

“Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for the believers in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith and purity.” - 1 Timothy 4:12

This year our youth have the opportunity to continue to play major roles at our diocesan convention! Teens in grades 10-12 are enthusiastically encouraged to serve in the following
roles:
• Lay Deputies (Deputies are able to vote on resolutions! Youth lay deputies are chosen by
the Districts. Contact your District Convener.)
• Licensed Lay Eucharistic Ministers
• Licensed Lay Readers for Eucharist
• Lectors (including Prayers of the People in foreign languages)
• Pages (help count votes and assist other Convention leaders)
• Sacristan Artists (help design the altar hangings for the services)
• Youth Ministry Ambassadors (working at the Youth Ministry table and promoting our
programs and events to other members of the Diocese)
• Singers and musicians
• Ushers and greeters
Our youth will stay overnight at the Hilton Parsippany, be able to have fun with other young people from the Diocese and learn more about the way the Diocese functions. There is NO COST for this event. We just ask that youth share their experiences with their congregations.
The registration deadline is December 14, 2007.

U2charist to support the MDGs

October 27, 2007 - We raised over $3000 for the Hogar de Ninas!

St. Luke's Church, Montclair
A U2charist is a service of Holy Communion set to the music of Bono and the band, U2. It is a wonderful way to praise and worship God while dancing in the aisles!
A free-will offering will be gathered for the ministry of the Hogar de Ninas, Panama, a school that serves abandoned girls.

This U2charist is sponsored by:
Christ Church, Bloomfield/GlenRidge; Grace Church, Nutley; St. James' Church, Upper Montclair; St. John's Church, Montclair, St. Luke's Church, Montclair.

We'll have another u2charist come January 2008 at Grace Church!
